Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Privacy at a Glance

Liquid Resonance runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect personal data from the speaker cleaning tool itself. The audio processing happens on your device and never leaves it. We may use analytics and advertising services that collect anonymized usage data.

1. Information We Collect

Liquid Resonance is designed with a privacy-first approach. The core speaker cleaning functionality operates entirely client-side using the Web Audio API built into your browser. No audio data, device identifiers, or personal information is transmitted to our servers during the cleaning process.

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics (or similar services) to collect anonymized data about how our website is used, including page views, session duration, approximate geographic region, device type, and browser type. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
  • Advertising Data: We use Google AdSense (or similar advertising networks) to display advertisements on our free-tier pages. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity. You can manage your ad preferences through your browser settings or Google's Ad Settings.
  • Payment Information: If you purchase Ultra mode, your payment is processed entirely by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers or bank account details. We receive only a transaction confirmation and a unique order ID.
  • Contact Information: If you voluntarily contact us via email, we collect and store the information you provide (email address, name, message content) solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

Any information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To improve the functionality and user experience of our website through analytics.
  • To display relevant advertisements to users on the free tier.
  • To process and verify premium purchases.
  • To respond to support inquiries and customer service requests.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of our service.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for basic site functionality such as remembering your premium status during a session.
  • Analytics Cookies: Used by Google Analytics to understand site usage patterns. These cookies collect information in an anonymous form.
  • Advertising Cookies: Used by Google AdSense and advertising partners to serve relevant ads. These cookies may track your browsing behavior across websites.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you before a cookie is placed. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics -- for website usage analytics (privacy.google.com)
  • Google AdSense -- for displaying advertisements (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Stripe -- for payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
  • Vercel -- for website hosting (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services to understand how they handle your data.

5. Data Retention

Since our core tool does not collect personal data, there is no user data to retain from the speaker cleaning process. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention policies of Google Analytics (26 months). Contact inquiries are retained for up to 12 months after the last communication, after which they are permanently deleted.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access: You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: You may object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@liquidresonance.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Liquid Resonance is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.

8. International Data Transfers

Our website is hosted on Vercel's global infrastructure. By using our service, you acknowledge that your anonymized usage data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
